Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the roofreplacementaustintx.com website and the roofing services provided by Austin Roof Replacement ("Company," "we," "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Estimates and Quotes

All free roof inspections and written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final pricing may be adjusted after on-site inspection reveals concealed conditions (rotted decking, structural damage, multiple underlying layers, etc.). Any change-orders will be documented in writing and approved by you before work proceeds.

2. Contracts and Scope of Work

No work begins until a written contract is signed by both parties. The contract specifies materials (manufacturer, color, warranty), labor scope, total price, payment schedule, and expected start/completion dates. Verbal agreements are not binding.

3. Payment Terms

Standard payment schedule for roof replacement projects:

• Deposit at contract signing (typically 10-25%)
• Progress payment at material delivery (if required)
• Final balance due within 7 days of project completion and walk-through

We accept cash, check, major credit cards, ACH transfer, and approved financing. Late payments accrue 1.5% monthly interest. Insurance claim projects follow a separate payment schedule documented in the contract.

4. Warranties

Workmanship warranties range from 5 to 25 years depending on the system installed. Manufacturer material warranties are passed through directly from the shingle/metal/membrane manufacturer. Warranties are voided by: damage from acts of God beyond manufacturer coverage, modifications by third parties, foot traffic damage, or failure to perform reasonable maintenance. Warranty terms are detailed in your project contract.

5. Licensing and Insurance

Austin Roof Replacement is fully licensed, bonded, and insured to operate in the State of Texas. Certificates of insurance are available on request. We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage.

6. Property Access and Cleanup

You agree to provide reasonable access to the property during the work window and to move vehicles, patio furniture, and breakable items from the work zone. We use tarps, magnetic nail sweepers, and dedicated cleanup crews daily, but the Company is not liable for landscaping disturbance, satellite dish realignment, or minor cosmetic damage from normal roofing operations.

7. Cancellation and Right to Rescind

Per Texas law, residential customers have three (3) business days to rescind a signed contract without penalty. Cancellation after this period but before material delivery forfeits the deposit. Cancellation after materials have been ordered or delivered is subject to restocking fees and labor mobilization costs.

8. Insurance Claims

When assisting with storm-damage insurance claims, we act as your roofing contractor and not as a public adjuster. We do not negotiate claim values with insurance carriers; we provide documentation, photos, and estimates that you submit. The contract amount is independent of the insurance settlement.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the contract price actually paid for that project. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct as required by Texas law.

10. Website Use

The content on this website is for informational purposes. Photos, prices, and estimates shown are examples only and do not constitute a binding offer until a written contract is signed. You may not scrape, republish, or redistribute our content without written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Active project contracts remain governed by the version of these Terms in force at signing.
